The Daily Examen, Lectio Divina and Centering Prayer cards to inspire and equip you for prayer, reflection and time spent in the presence of God.
We believe that God by his Spirit dwells within each of his children. It is our understanding that as we grow as Christian believers we can both increase our experience of his presence within us and over the course of our life develop deeply our relationship with God. This is what we call ‘spiritual formation’, growing to be like Jesus, by the power of his Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father.
Update: As we face the coronavirus at this time, we wanted to make these popular cards available free of charge, for you to download and print at home, to help you with your spiritual rhythms in this new reality.

The Lectio Divina
The Lectio Divina is a dynamic way of reading the Bible which follows a four-step approach of reading, meditation, prayer and contemplation. It invites us to savour and mull over God’s words quietly, slowly and intently, gives us space to respond to what God is saying and helps us build a bridge between our encounters with God and everyday life with its joys and challenges.

The Centering Prayer
Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer helps to foster our personal relationship with God and emphasises prayer as a movement beyond conversation with God to communion with him.
