Now things get real
Once your calling to plant a church has been officially recognised by both your local church and the Multiply Team, you will step into the next phase of the church planting process and start Launch Training.
Launch Training commences every September with a two day residential followed by a series of online learning environments over a 9 month period. It is an intense and rewarding preparatory journey, which is about giving your church plant the best possible start in life.
You will have access to many of the most experienced and seasoned church planters in our movement, providing you with plenty of opportunity to learn the essential first steps within a supportive cohort of people going on the same journey as you in other parts of the UK and Ireland.

A church in a box
Planting a church is really two complex and difficult tasks rolled into one. On the one hand it’s all about gathering people from your town or city and leading them towards Jesus. This is a highly relational and people-intensive assignment – it’s also probably what you’ve been dreaming about for months or even years of your life.
But it’s also about launching and running a new charity, and initiating wise and safe governance.
The Multiply team stands ready to support you with both of these vitally important tasks. In fact, we will invest in your new church plant by setting up many of the new components you’ll need to launch your church. This includes establishing charity status, making sure policies are in place, opening bank accounts, software subscriptions, insurances, and setting up websites and social media channels.
Full training on each component will be provided during the Launch Training Curriculum.

Having completed all the requirements of Launch Training, you will be commissioned by your sending church and now the hard and exciting work of church-planting begins…
