“We Wait In Hope For The Lord is simply a melody on top of Psalm 33: 20-22. It just kind of came out of me about two years ago when I was worshipping through this chapter, and I took a voice memo of it on my iPhone. I love singing straight from Scripture, as I often find I can memorise way more song lyrics than biblical texts. When we are worshipping, we are subconsciously learning from the words that we sing, and I want these words to form strong theological foundations to call back on. I love the diversity and honesty that the Psalms give us for everyday life. There is a place for celebrating God, there is a place for crying out, and there is a place for waiting.” – Hannah Toal
