In this time of uncertainty, we recognise how important it is to draw close to God and focus our hearts and minds on him – the one in whom our hope is in. The Spiritual Direction team have put together this video to help you connect with Jesus and rest in his presence.
Today’s exercise is a Visio Divina, or “sacred seeing”, which is an ancient form of Christian prayer in which we allow our hearts and minds to focus on an image to see what God might have to say to us. In this exercise, we are using Rembrandt’s “Storm on the Sea of Galilee” which depicts the story in Luke 8.
