Highway Vineyard Church is a growing multicultural church in the Borough of Newham in East London. We are a multisite church seeking to contagiously and compassionately demonstrate and communicate the love of Jesus to the people of our city.
This is an exciting time of change and growth at Highway Vineyard church and we are currently putting together an ambitious five year plan. The Operations Manager’s main goal is to help us turn our vision into action!
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual to join our staff team. This is a broad, operational, and strategic senior role that will involve overseeing all of the church’s operations in a way that best enables the growth of God’s kingdom. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations by managing logistics for our multisite church, providing administrative, financial and HR support, and serving as an integral part of our staff team. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a servant-hearted leadership approach.
Hours worked: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive within the sector, based on experience

The Role

The role will be required to film and edit inspiring videos, to help raise awareness around the events, programmes, and ministries available from the Vineyard movement. This is a part time position, with the role based in Cardiff however there will be regular travel. This role will be well suited to someone who is able to plan, film and edit long and short form films suitable for National events, social media and websites. The candidate would ideally be proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro X, Davinci resolve or similar industry-standard software. The candidate will be competent at shooting from multiple angles, with great lighting and sounds and have a track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Bognor Vineyard is located on the south coast of the UK in Bognor Regis, and people call us home as far as Selsey to the west, Worthing to the east, and Chichester to the north. We were planted by Portsmouth Vineyard in 1999 and meet in schools and community centres in the Bognor area. We currently have around 50 people attending Sunday morning services. We have our own building in the centre of town for admin, prayer, worship and outreach in addition to two flats, which we rent out.

Job Purpose
Leadership: This new role has been created to help us embrace the recent church growth we have experienced and to help us continue to grow as a church. We are looking for someone to join our staff team who loves to worship Jesus, has experience in leading meetings in the power of the Holy Spirit, someone that has clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Youth: We are looking for someone who can share our passion and vision for discipling young people, someone that has experience of working with youth (11-18yrs), someone that can sow life and inspiration into this generation. We require someone that can initiate cross-church connections and facilitate collaboration with secondary schools work in the area.
Ministry Development: Compassion ministry and serving those that don’t yet belong to the church is important to us, we really want to be a church that disrupts loneliness in Farnham. The successful candidate will be responsible for launching and overseeing a compassion ministry. Recruiting & organising a team of volunteers will be crucial to the success of this, as will the ability to minister to people with love and grace.
